Who is Iris?

I have many years of experience as a wedding planner for weddings in South Africa.

Since 2003 Fundisa Weddings has organised weddings in South Africa for Dutch and Belgian couples.

Between 2004 and now I have travelled in Africa for almost 3 years, across 8 trips.

Travelled through South Africa for a year, running a lodge for 3 months of it.

Fondest memory

Two years travelling through Africa in a Land Rover, with our border collie.

Our own wedding in 2007 in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The mountain gorillas in Uganda, the Komodo dragons in Indonesia.

3 months working at a kangaroo sanctuary in Australia and 4 months at an animal shelter in Jordan.
