I am always on the move and never in one place for long. I recently spent a month
in Uganda and I have also spent a lot of time in Tanzania.
And of course I am often in South Africa.
About the expert
Who is Tessa?
For 11 years I have lived part of the time in South Africa and I know southern and eastern Africa
like no one else. After three years of travelling I started "Jouw Afrika Reis". I visit every
location myself: from luxury lodges to unique campsites in Kenya or Namibia.
Personal experience is essential to me for putting perfect trips together.

Fondest memory
My visit to Mahale Mountains National Park in Tanzania and the search for
chimpanzees was unforgettable. The landscape is so beautiful that I can never quite
put into words how unique this place is.
